I found this movie so hilarious, and going into it i knew from having heard about it that this movie was so ultimately cheesy that it couldn’t be missed. Because of this, i decided to see this film as more of a satire, a spoof on action flicks like this. Had it been the first action film to ever follow a formula so cookie cutter that it now has become, this movie would be a marvel. This film literally has every cliché that has ever existed in an action flick. I was dumbfounded to see that this wasn’t a comedy, and i truly wish it would be. Stating that its not (coined as a action/thriller/drama) seems to take away the notion that it’s all done on purpose, but i remain blissfully ignorant if it helps me appreciate this more.
