Synopsis: The story of Joseph a man plagued by violence and a rage that is driving him to self-destruction. As Joseph's life spirals into turmoil a chance of redemption appears in the form of Hannah, a Christian charity shop worker. Their relationship develops to reveal that Hannah is hiding a secret of her own with devastating results on both of their lives.

Tyrannosaur is the first feature film to be entirely written and directed by actor Paddy Considine. It was filmed in spring 2010 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It stars Peter Mullan, Olivia Colman, and Eddie Marsan with Paul Popplewell and Sally Carman. Considine previously wrote and directed the short film Dog Altogether for Warp Films, winning the Best Short Film BAFTA and BIFA awards as well as the Silver Lion award at Venice in 2007. Peter Mullan, Olivia Colman and Paul Popplewell also appeared in the short film.
