Synopsis: Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood. Meanwhile, William Easton, a lawyer at an insurance firm has been kidnapped and thrust into another game. One of his tests revolve around six of his junior associates being trapped on a carousel. William must choose to save only two of the six people, the rest are executed by a stationary shotgun. Another trap, which is for Tanedra Howard’s character, is a head trap with metal bars that slowly compact her temples together until it eventually becomes fatal. A third trap shows two unrevealed people being suspended by chains with oxygen masks over their mouth and nose areas.

Saw VI is the sixth installment in the Saw film series. The film, which began shooting on March 30, 2009, will be released in theaters on October 23, 2009. Saw VI is directed by Kevin Greutert, who has been the editor on all the past Saw films to date. Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, the writers for both Saw IV and V, have returned to write Saw VI.
