Synopsis: Machete has a run-in with Michael Benz, a local businessman and spin doctor, who tells Machete that McLaughlin, a corrupt senator, is sending hundreds of illegal immigrants out of the country and that he must be killed. Benz offers Machete $150,000 to kill McLaughlin who quickly accepts the murder contract out of greed for the money.

Machete is an upcoming action film, directed by Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis. The film will star Danny Trejo in his first lead role as the title character. The film also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Cheech Marin, Lindsay Lohan, Don Johnson, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Robert DeNiro, Jeff Fahey, and Cheryl Chin. The film is an expansion of a fake trailer Rodriguez directed for the 2007 film Grindhouse and centers around the character of Machete Cortez, who previously appeared as the uncle of the protagonists in the more lighthearted Spy Kids films. Filmed in autumn 2009, the film will be released in the United States on September 3, 2010 by 20th Century Fox.

I loved this film. It was pretty much what I expected it was going to be. This is the sexiest Michelle has ever been and her acting was top notch. However, Alba, while she is really hot in this, her acting is very poor just like every other movie she is in. This movie was a lot of fun for me. Trejo kicked ass and so did most of the actors in this. I thought De Niro turned in one of his better performances in a long time. To each their own, but I would give this movie a full price.
